​Languages

GYCC Online Judge currently supports Java 8, C, C++, Python (2.x and 3.x).

Divisions

Any grade 6-12 students are eligible to register GYCC contest. Students at public, private, independent schools, or home-schooled students of equivalent ages are welcome to participate.


Junior Division: any student with basic programming skills (Grade 6-9)

Senior Division: any student with intermediate or advanced programming skills (Grade 10-12)

(Note: A student can only register one division.)

Introduction

Computer programming is a core skill for students to success in this information age of 21st century. Therefore, it is critical to develop programming skills from a young age. Global Youth Coding Cup (GYCC) aims to provide the most fun computer programming contest for elementary and secondary school students. GYCC is organized by Canada Youth Robotics Club and Math and Science Association of Canada. All grade 6-12 students who are interested in programming are eligible to participate in this contest. We foster an exciting and competitive environment for young students to learn and test their programming knowledge and skills.
